HASSLER ROMA

HASSLER ROMA
Preserving a century of Hospitality means caring not only for our guests, but also for the city we call Home.
For over a century, The Hassler Hotel has welcomed travellers from around the world with the same philosophy: to offer hospitality that is authentic, elegant and deeply attentive to people.
Today, this vision extends to our commitment to sustainability. For us, it means caring for the place that hosts us, celebrating the cultural and human heritage of Rome, and making more responsible choices every day, without ever compromising the excellence that has always defined our hotel.
Sustainability is not a destination but an ongoing journey of improvement that involves every department of the property, translating into concrete actions, large and small, capable of generating a positive impact over time.
Caring for our Environment
Reducing our Impact, every day.
Every day we work to make our operations more efficient and responsible. Mindful of the challenges that come with a historic building, we continue to invest in upgrading our systems and identifying new solutions to improve our environmental performance.
Pre-arrival information sent by e-mail and a WhatsApp Concierge service for in-house guests: around 80% of paper communication at the Concierge desk has been eliminated.
Digital receipts, a digital newspaper, Room Service, Palm Court and Salone Eva menus available on the new in-room TVs, bills presented on tablets, and Wi-Fi shared via QR code.
Our Housekeeping team uses certified, environmentally responsible Ecolab products, progressively replacing traditional cleaning products.
Dedicated microfibre cloths for every surface, together with cloths made from linen that can no longer be used for guests.
Rooms are serviced twice a day; in-room cards invite guests to leave on the floor only the towels they wish to have changed, helping to reduce water and energy consumption.
Glass straws, the elimination of plastic from bars and tables across our Food & Beverage outlets, and packaging that is predominantly paper-based for Room Service and takeaway. In-room amenities and water bottles remain areas we are actively working to address.
Dedicated bins for organic, plastic and general waste in every department, compostable bags for organic waste, and separate collection of glass and used cooking oil.
Responsible
Hospitality
The contribution of every person.
Sustainability starts with people. This is why we invest in the continuous training of our team, encouraging responsible behaviour and dialogue across departments.

A Kitchen that celebrates
Territory
The quality of our culinary offering begins with the selection of ingredients and respect for their value. At Imàgo, our Michelin star restaurant, we work largely with suppliers from Rome and the surrounding Lazio region, celebrating the excellence of the territory.

Sustainable
Mobility
We invite our guests to experience Rome from a different perspective, at a slower and more mindful pace.

Supporting our
Community
Being part of Rome means contributing to its growth. We support cultural and social initiatives that celebrate the local territory and collaborate with local partners who share our values of inclusion, excellence and responsibility.

Our
People
Sustainability comes to life every day through the people who make the Hassler experience possible. We foster a workplace built on respect, inclusion and professional growth, investing in continuous training on topics such as sustainability, business ethics, gender equality and corporate responsibility. We believe that the everyday commitment of each team member — from reducing waste to using resources responsibly — is what makes truly responsible hospitality possible.
