A picture is worth more than a thousand words

If the adage "A picture is worth a thousand words" is true, then the Hassler will save you trillions and trillions of words, as it is probably the most photographed hotel in the world given its position at the top of the Spanish Steps.

Just a single still image of the Hassler evokes a multitude of associations and memories, from Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck’s “Roman Holiday”, to the innumerable celebrities past and present that made this historic hotel their home in Rome, and the style, the atmosphere and the Italian way of life that can only be called “la dolce vita”.

Luxury furnishings, each decorated with its own particular style, the Hassler’s 82 rooms and 14 spectacular suites and the warm and professional service continue the hotel's dolce vita legacy, along with  the hotel’s panoramic Michelin-starred restaurant Imàgo on the 6th floor or its delightful open-air garden restaurant and bar, the Palm Court.

And how best to celebrate the Dolce Vita if not by ordering a Bellini, the bar’s specialty, or as Princess Diana once confessed to the Hassler’s owner Roberto Wirth: “the best "Bellini" of the world.
